Messages / Contact User

To be able to access the Messages page and start exchanging e-mails with the other CoinMad users, you have to be a Registered CoinMad user. To become Registered please visit the How To Register page.

After signing in, click on the My Account link. Under the section Messages you are given the options to either Compose a new message, check all incoming messages in your Inbox folder, read your Sent mail to other CoinMad users, or check all unnecessary incoming and outcoming mail in your Deleted messages folder.

Compose

By clicking on the Compose link, you access the "Compose A New Message" page where you can contact a CoinMad user and ask a general question. You have to fill in all blanks.

  • To: This is where you enter the CoinMad user name. If you don’t remember it exactly, you can look it up by doing a quick search by clicking on the link next to it or by accessing the Search page.
  • Subject: This is where you enter the subject of your message, up to 64 characters. The subject of each message is usually a small synopsis of the full message.
  • Message: This is where you write the full message, up to 1024 characters.

All the above 3 fields are required.

By clicking on the Send link your message is sent to the desired recipient and is stored in the Sent folder for later viewing.

Inbox

By clicking on the Inbox link, you access all incoming messages by other CoinMad users or CoinMad staff. All incoming messages are sorted by date – latest messages appear on top. These messages can either be related to a certain Coin or Offer or concern a general inquiry. Unread messages appear with a colored background.

  • Messages related to a certain Coin that you are offering, have the generic subject:
    “About coin: X (Y)”
    - where X stands for the Coin Code, that is unique for each Inserted Coin and Y stands for the Coin Value.
  • Messages related to a certain Offer that you are making, have the generic subject:
    “About offer: X”
    - where X stands for the Offer general title.
  • Messages that are not related to a certain Coin or Offer, may have any type of subject and may concern a general inquiry.

The red “x” sign next to each message temporarily deletes the message by moving it to the Deleted messages folder.

By clicking on the subject of each message you can access the full message.

After accessing each message you can:

  • Reply to it through the Reply white box, by writing up to 1024 characters and clicking on the button Reply. The message will be stored in the Sent folder where you can view it anytime.
  • Delete it by clicking on the delete link next to the red “x” sign. The message will move from the Inbox folder to the Deleted folder where you can view it anytime.
